@Willyboy – How many miles on the rebuild? How many miles on the tires, etc...The hood springs do not work? ...
The hood springs do work and keep the hood up. They are a little soft, so buying new hood hinge springs wouldn't be a bad idea. We don't know the mileage recorded since rebuild or when the tires were installed, other than the car looks good and the tires have a lot of tread on them. Good luck with the bidding!
@Pjshuster – Are you sure it’s a 1972 because it has 1971 front parking lens in it. ...
You know your Chevelles. It is a 1971 grill and headlight trim rings which the previous owner preferred the look of. The car is a 1972 though, the 6th digit of the VIN is a "2". Good luck on the bidding, this is a REALLY nice Chevelle!
