@Dwayne3618 – Good morning. Thank you for a great auction week. With a little over 5 hours left I’ll be checking in periodically to answer all questions. Hopefully this great classic will find a new home today. I’ll keep everyone posted if I decide to drop the reserve. ...
Hi, dwayne. This is joseph from in pennsylvania and I am wondering how I might be able to contact you over the next hour to talk a little bit about the car before I make a decision to continue to think about bidding. Thanks a lot
With 3 hours to go- I’ve decided to drop the reserve. Will sell to the highest bidder. Good luck to all those interested. The new owner will be very happy with the purchase.

Good morning. @MnM, yes- this swap is common as it is the correct fit in the tr4. Kits are sold online from several companies. In my opinion, it’s the best option. Shifts much better than stock- full synchro, and Ofcourse 5 speed.
What modifications were required to replace the stock transmission with the Toyota? (is this a "standard" type swap?)

Good morning. @Brandeis4, car was originally from Idaho, then shipped to Arizona. I had taken a photos of receipts on engine rebuilt and transmission swap. I see they are a little blurry. Posting another one now. I undercoated the car because the original undercoat was disintegrating from the Arizona heat. Flaking off.
A couple of more questions on this very pretty TR4. Since you’re in Az , why did you undercoat the car? Any history on the cars history , where has it been? Is there a receipt on the engine rebuild? Thanks
