Hello - Do you have a reserve on your car?
Welcome to the bid for this 64 Corvair. Previous owner was a gentleman in his 90's. He had a large classic car collection that he was slowly selling off. I purchased this 64 Monza 900, and a 65 from him. The vehicles were stored inside since the majority of the restoration in 2015. The engine and trans are running great. Interior is in very good condition, exterior only one dime sixe chip in front grill (see pic). I have had both the vehicles gone over by a very reputable Corvair mechanic hear in southern California. We corrected and replaced items that deamed replacing like suspension bushings in front and rear, new reversed light switch, alignment, new wheels and tires with after market white lettering, new vinyl stripe, new floor matts, new kick plates, new package container area cardboard at rear seat. I paid 15K last December for this vehicle and I have appprox. 7K in receipts. This vehicle can be driven daily. It drives like a dream! I know the market has dropped and I am not ecpecting to get any of my money back. Hopefully my loss is your found fortune. Please feel free to ask questions. I am having more videos being put up as we speak. Best of luck!
@ralf-who – Is the racing stripe painted-on or tape? ...
Its a vinyl stripe that was installed in July. They said it can be removed within a year without leaving any marks as long as the vehicle is not sored in direct sun light. I have had the vehicle stored inside at all times unless driving.
Sorry. Just noticed the word 'decal'.
