Vehicle Story

This 1967 Chevrolet C10 is a regular-cab pickup that has been professionally customized with the addition of a newer 1990s Chevrolet stepside bed, a lowered suspension, custom 20” polished aluminum wheels, a tonneau cover, and Edelbrock performance upgrades. It is powered by a replacement crate 454ci V8 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. Finished in GM Red Orange over a gray cloth interior, this C10 is now offered with a clear Florida title in the seller’s name.

This C10 is painted GM Red Orange (7753) as part of a professional refurbishment, which included an attachment of a 1990s Chevrolet "Stepside" bed with a color-matched locking fiberglass tonneau cover. The original chrome bumper was retained up front, the rear has been customized with a color-matched roll pan, a Bed Rug bed liner has been applied to the bed, and an under-bed fuel tank was added. Additional modifications included the relocation of the fuel filler to the driver-side since the factory filler is no longer functional. Minor stone chips are reported on the front end.

Aftermarket 20” US Mag polished aluminum wheels are wrapped in Nitto 285/35 Z-rated tires. Braking is handled by vacuum-assisted power brakes, with discs up front and new drums in the rear. The master cylinder has been replaced and the power steering gearbox is new.

The interior is fitted with a newer gray cloth with a fold-down center seat, matching reupholstered door panels and headliner, and a two-tone dash. The Old Air air conditioning system has been converted to R134a refrigerant, and additional amenities include power door locks and an AM/FM/cassette head unit.

Instrumentation is framed by a leather-wrapped steering wheel and consists of a new 100-mph speedometer, gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage, and aftermarket Autometer gauges are mounted below the dash. The 5-digit mechanical odometer reads approximately 2,300 miles, though true chassis mileage is unknown.

The crate 454ci V8 is equipped with a 4-barrel Edelbrock carburetor, an Assault air intake system, HEI ignition system, a Champion aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, a Flowmaster dual exhaust system, and other performance upgrades. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with a B&M torque converter. The seller indicates that the parking brake has been disconnected.

The lowered suspension has been refurbished with replacement Monroe rear shocks and the installation of a front sway bar. Additional photos of the underside are available in the gallery.
