This 1998 Chevrolet Suburban LT is a refurbished and modified K2500 with a custom exterior treatment, Nitto tires, a Bluetooth audio system, and upgraded lighting. It is powered by a Jasper 454ci V8 paired with a rebuilt 4-speed automatic transmission and was originally sold in Mount Laurel, New Jersey in November 1999 before being relocated to Mississippi where it would spend the next 20 years. Finished in Victory Red over a custom gray leather interior, it is now offered with a clean CARFAX report and a clear Mississippi title in the seller’s name.
This Suburban is finished in factory-offered Victory Red and underwent a comprehensive rebuild over the past three years and 40,000 miles. All exterior trim is finished in black, including the bumpers, mirrors, grille, badging, and bolt-on fender flares. Front lighting has been upgraded with clear-bezel marker lamps, and the tail lamps are aftermarket LED-equipped units. Tubular running boards are fitted on both sides. The rear bumper is custom-built with an integrated tow hitch, and the spare tire has been relocated to the custom lockable swing-away mount on the tailgate.
Black-finished XD wheels are wrapped in Nitto Terrain Grappler tires.
The interior is fitted with four custom two-tone gray leather reclining bucket seats, and center consoles with cup holders and USB plugs. The third row of seating has been removed to maximize cargo capacity. A carpeted dash mat has been added, and the seller indicates that the air conditioning system has been rebuilt and is operational. The stereo system has Bluetooth connectivity and includes a backup camera, a hands-free mic, and is wired with new speakers throughout the cabin.
Instrumentation consists of a 100-mph speedometer, a 6,000-rpm tachometer, and accompanying gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer displays 266,000 miles which are original to the vehicle.
Power comes from a Jasper 454ci (7.4-liter) V8 which sits beneath a Vortec intake cover and is paired with a rebuilt four-speed automatic transmission. The seller says the engine has only ever run synthetic lubricants and lists a new radiator.
The CARFAX report shows an accident on record from August 2014 but indicates that the vehicle was not damaged at the time.
BID: $10,700
Hello Sweet looking Chevy. So if I’m understanding the history correctly, the 454 engine had a full rebuild roughly 40,000 miles ago? Also any way to find out it’s towing capacities? When we go to car shows we will bring along a towable RV to stay in. Thanks Hagar
