This 1966 Ford Mustang coupe is powered by a modified 347ci V8 paired with an automatic transmission. Upgrades include an MSD ignition with Talon spark plugs and wires, a Champion aluminum radiator, polished air cleaner with a finned intake scoop, and more. The car has also been outfitted with performance equipment including a reinforced rear suspension, an upgraded line-lock braking system, racing seats with harnesses, and a custom rollbar. Finished in gray, this Mustang is now offered with a clear South Dakota title in the seller’s name.
This Mustang was professionally resprayed in gray with color-matched bumpers, a high-clearance hood, and custom accents throughout the exterior. The seller indicates that fiberglass panels were fabricated for easy access at the front end, and the overall body condition is straight and free of rust. Striping at the lower rocker panels denotes Fast Lane Rod & Custom branding, and all chrome bright work with exception of the window surrounds has been refinished in black.
Aftermarket Weld Racing 5-spoke polished-aluminum wheels are wrapped in staggered-size tires with racing slicks at the rear. Braking is handled by line-lock brakes, and the rear suspension has been reinforced for optimal handling and stability in performance driving situations.
The interior is fitted with racing seats with 5-point harnesses. A custom rollbar has been installed, along with a racing shift lever for the automatic transmission.
Instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer as well as additional factory gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The 5-digit odometer reads approximately 82k miles, though true mileage is unknown.
The stroker 347ci V8 is rated at 500 horsepower per the seller and is fitted with an MSD ignition with Talon plugs and wires, a Champion aluminum radiator, a chrome air cleaner, and a dual polished finned air intake scoop, and is secured with JEGS racing brackets. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via an automatic transmission.

@fryguy23 – How hard would it be to redo the interior for street driving? ...
It should not be too hard to put the seats back to street driving, but I am not sure what it would cost.
This car runs great. It does not smoke. Everything in the photos (car related extra parts and such) is going with the car.
BID: $5,000
I"d like to have it, However I have bought stuff and things have been striped after sale that were not noted but when seen in person was gone. Or the owner Rods it till the tappetts clatter.Especially before someone is around to see it.I've lost trust on the word and hand shake.Back too the car. sounds ok, tired but ok. wonder if it has solids? Does it smoke, while on cold start or when you pull off?? If the next owner wants to sell it, I'd like to be someone told!
