...from the Daily Mail : "An Oklahoma mechanic accused of fleecing one of his clients of $115,000 in bogus car repairs has made an astonishing attempt to blame the ordeal on his wife." ....https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14338579/oklahoma-city-mechanic-blames-wife-classic-car-restoration-cost.html .....He went on to threaten to 'sue the living heck' out of News 4....https://kfor.com/news/local/man-frustrated-after-shop-still-hasnt-restored-vintage-truck-two-years-and-more-than-115000-later/ ......from the Iconic Motors Website...doesn't that indicate sales and service and restoration under one roof : From Iconic Motors: "When it comes to Classic for sale in USA Iconic Motors has outstanding inventory. We are proud to deliver cars to Dubai, Indonesia, UK & UAE. We offer full restoration services. Everything in-house! No job is too BIG or Small! Mechanical, Body & Paint Services. Hello, all. We will make a blanket statement hopefully addressing most everyone's concerns and questions. Yes, we are Iconic Motors of OKC. Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 9a-6p. The most recent comments were sent during our days of being closed, so we are just now seeing these and able to respond. We do apologize for the delay in response. The article/news headline you are referring to is our other entity, Classic Corner Iconic Cars. In a nutshell, that is our repair/restoration department. Iconic Motors, however, is the used car sales side of the business. Just like a Chevy or Toyota has a sales division and a service department. The repair/restoration department has nothing to do with the sales of our cars. There is much more to the story that will come out in due time, but we will refrain from getting into this at this time. Additionally, this '72 Mustang has nothing to do with the news clip. This is a local car brought to us by a local resident. We had another local reputable company look it over and actually gave it a re-alignment to make sure it's road ready. Please do not let the negative agenda of a news station affect the sale of this nice car. We understand, and respect, everyone's decision to buy or not buy with us. We are still open to help you in any way we can with this auction. Thank you for reading, and we wish you all a great day and happy bidding process. -Iconic Motors

@Stryker – Are you going to answer powertourpacers question? ...

...nah, doubt it...the original question proffered from Powertour was asked before 2:00 PM...you inquired around 5:30 PM awaiting an answer from the Seller...it is now almost 11:00 PM and all I heard was crickets...oh my, look how quiet some people can be when they want to.....

hi guys...did some research on FB regarding the seller....here is a partial reveal : ...Read this before buying. 1. https://kfor.com/.../man-frustrated-after-shop-still.../amp/ .......2.Dacia Cooper doesn't recommend Iconic Motors/Classic Corner Iconic Cars. Many story’s showing up of people getting scammed on either work done of vehicles purchased. Yikes I would avoid. .....3.Brenda Burke doesn't recommend Iconic Motors/Classic Corner Iconic Cars.Don't lose your money!! Find another dealer please! These people are crooks! ....4.BIGGEST CROCK OF BS!!! Takes people’s money only to give them the run around. Excuses, deaths & god knows what other lies he’s told people! DO NOT BUY FROM HIM HE WILL TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND NOT DELIVER WHAT YOU PAID FOR! ....5. I called about a vehicle and James was who I spoke with and he cussed at me and hung up telling me to bring the amount offered the next day. I showed up the next day with that amount and was then told I am paying doc fees which he could have said the previous day had he not hung up. After buying the vehicle I was told by salesman I would have title within 2 weeks. After not receiving title I called and was told it had been mailed a week prior. Then I called a week later and was told it would be mailed that day. I called that Thursday and told it was definitely mailed. I called on Friday and spoke with 2 other people and was told no the title was there and had been all along and didn’t know why she told me it had been mailed but both offered to bring it to me the following Monday. On Sunday James called me and again used profanity and said his employees would not be bringing me the title and that I had 2 choices come get it or certified mail and that his employee hadn’t lied but simply made a mistake. James and his language with the public is very unprofessional and degrading. He attempts to talk down to you. I will never do business with this person again after going and picking up my title today.HUGE SLIM BALL 🤌🏼 ....6.Berta Steph Effinger: That’s pretty much the way he treats everybody he is not a very good person to do business with..... 7.https://kfor.com/news/local/man-frustrated-after-shop-still-hasnt-restored-vintage-truck-two-years-and-more-than-115000-later/amp/?fbclid=IwY2xjawILqTZleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHUPoXRcvfRaodkqxGBXzdADWZBExMlTEWEAtQdeTv1kOONZ2zXAdh5CkeQ_aem_InanzrcSkODicB1XlksKEg ...8. Do your due diligence....these words are not mine, but rather consumer's first hand knowledge of the Seller....but if I were you, BLOWNv8, I would run for the hills ....

Please clarify what I read in the newspaper about Iconic Motors this week...Are you the same Iconic Motors in OK that took $115,000 from Tim Hayes for a restoration project and scammed him out of every dollar? It hit headlines 01/29/25. Just wondering as I googled Iconic Motors. Seems like other improprieties also in the paper.
