We have never tried treating the surface rust, so that's worth a shot! Regular octane gas. I believe the Carb was new when put on. Truck drives straight no major issue or leaks, and all gauges work. Windshield wiper does not work.
The ignition is on the column. There is one key to the truck. The oil was from the oil pressure gauge hose that was disconnected, and we just recently replaced it (last week). The turn signal has since fixed.
For the surface rust have you tried POR-15 or Naval Jelly do u think it is treatable? What gas do you use in the car? Is the carb rebuilt or stock during engine rebult? Car drives straight no issue or leaks and all gauges except the indicator and wiper work?
