@kurts1967 – Very Nice and sorry to hear about your mother. Do you have any pictures of the restoration? Was any sheetmetal replaced? ...
Short answer to your questions. I do not have any pics of restoration. I do not believe sheet metal was replaced. Long winded answer. I think the restoration was probably completed in 2013 b/c the collection we obtained it from bought it already fully restored/completed. I believe it was simply purchased after restoration and added to collection b/c the DMV registration research/look up I did in 2018 had 7714 odometer reading on 8/15/2013. We bought it 5/25/2018 with odometer 7992. And today odometer is 93XX. And to be honest, back in 2018 we were not asking questions about who build it, documentation of the build, photos of build etc…. b/c we knew we were up against a clock. Our singular mission was finding the nicest 1966 impala ss we could find. This one looking like it rolled off assembly line made one kick butt last bday present for a lady that was in awe of it. She nicknamed it “red rider”. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks
