This 1976 Ford Bronco is a late-model first generation that was purchased by the previous owner with restoration intent. Described as being in running condition, modifications include upsized all-terrain tires on aftermarket wheels, a winch mounted to the front bumper, and a swing-away mount holding a matching spare. Finished in Dark Jade Green over a two-tone brown and beige interior, this Ford Bronco is powered by a 302ci V8 mated to a 3-speed manual and Dana 20 transfer case driving all four wheels.
Dark Jade Green was offered on the final few years of first-generation Bronco production and carried over to the second-generation. The finish of this 1976 Bronco is weathered, with numerous areas where rust bubbles have breached the top coat. A Warn winch is fitted to an aftermarket front bumper along with a set of driving lights, while the rear end features a swing-out tire carrier with a matching full-size spare mounted on it beneath a vinyl cover. Bolt-on fender flares are fitted all around and the hood has been modified with a scoop.
Bridgestone off-road tires are mounted on multi-spoke five-lug wheels which are color-matched to the body.
The cabin is home to seats wrapped in two-tone brown and cream-colored upholstery front and rear, along with brown carpeting. Lap belts are fitted and the three-speed manual is operated by way of a floor-mounted shifter. An older Jensen tape deck is mounted within the instrument panel with a switch panel added below it. The 100-mph speedometer situated to the left of the steering column is surrounded by indicators for fuel, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure, while an aftermarket tachometer is mounted on top of the steering column.
A spare parts package includes sun visors, a rearview mirror, and assorted trim pieces. Rust is present on the floor of the cabin behind the rear bench.
Ford's ubiquitous 302ci small-block V8 was standard for the 1976 model year, producing 125 horsepower and 220 pound-feet of torque, and wears Holley M/T valve covers in this Bronco. A 3-speed manual transmission coupled to a Dana 20 transfer case negotiates power to all four wheels which are driven by a Ford 9" rear axle and a Dana 44 front axle.
Photos of the undercarriage reveal rust on various components in addition to isolated areas of the frame.
A soft top is included in the sale.
