This 1969 Cadillac Coupe DeVille has been with the seller since 2001 and was treated to a multi-year refurbishment process with highlights that include a repaint, new vinyl top, rebuilt engine, and re-chromed exterior trim and bumpers, in addition to a host of mechanical work and maintenance. Finished in Cotillion White over a medium red interior, power comes from a 375-horsepower 472ci big-block V8 with 29,000 miles on it since being rebuilt, and this Cadillac is offered on a clear in the seller's name.
Side-by-side headlights were new for 1969 and Cotillion White was a factory-offered color for the model year, but the seller describes the current finish as a respray performed in 2006 in conjunction with replacement of the vinyl top and bodywork. All exterior trim including the large bumpers has reportedly been re-chromed, while exterior badging, scripts, emblems, and logos are complete and in their factory positions including the crest on the hood. The exhaust, muffler, and resonator are also said to have been replaced along with the radio antenna.
Wheels are covered by factory hubcaps bearing the Cadillac crest. Coker whitewall tires are said to be 10 years old with minimal use since mounting.
The interior is a plush space with bench seating front and rear upholstered in red with contrasting white inserts. The seats are reported to have been re-trimmed in addition to the installation of a molded carpet kit. Amenities include automatic climate control, and although the seller reports the system as having been recharged and running a replaced compressor, it does not blow cold air.
Front seats are power-adjustable and the radio is a reproduction unit connected to new speakers. The window seals and rubber pieces, trunk seal, and ignition switch are billed as having been replaced.
The 472ci V8 was new for 1968, and with 375 horsepower at 4,400 rpm and 525 pound-feet of torque at 3,000, it was among the most powerful Cadillac big-block engines sold before compression began to drop and the switch from gross to SAE net horsepower took place in 1972. The unit in this 1969 Coupe DeVille is reported to have been rebuilt with 29,000 miles covered in the time since and is mated to a Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed. According to the seller, replaced parts over the years include the driveshaft, starter, belts, parking brake cable, brake pads, hood insulation, and the windshield wiper motor.
Additional photos showing the undercarriage are available in the gallery.
This 1969 Cadillac Coupe DeVille comes with a jack and associated tools, a digital shop manual, a repair log, and invoices. Pre-restoration photos are available for viewing in the carousel.

Full disclosure - I recently notice a drain on the battery. I have not tried to locate the source, but I installed a battery cut off to disconnect the battery when not in use. Tom - Owner
