Some final thoughts as we near the end of this auction. As many of you already know, this is a fantastic car that is very well put together, but it’s not a pristine showroom piece meant only for display. This is a driver’s car. If someone decides to lean on it or your nephew gets in with the shoes full of mud, it won’t be the end of the world. What you’re getting is a very reliable, well-sorted car built to be driven and enjoyed. It’s powerful, it sounds incredible, and it’s an absolute pleasure on the road. The 5-speed transmission makes highway cruising smooth and enjoyable , which is a rare trait for a 1966 classics. At the same time, it’s stunning. The car turns heads wherever it goes and draws a crowd at local shows. So if you're looking for a car just to polish and stare at, I don't think this is the right car for you. But if the goal is to enjoy it, this will be the right car. Thank you all!

@ramey797 – What would it cost to ship to Florida? ...

Sorry, I cannot reliably answer that question as I am not a dealer. I'm just a private seller and I have never shipped a car across the country. All I can say is that I have heard that shipping a car from Southern California to the East cost could be around $1500 plus or minus depending on the shipper, but please, don't quote me on that. Thanks!

@[email protected] – What is the toggle switch for, and the plug under the glove box for? ...

The toggle switch is to manually engage the overdrive, but it is never used because the overdrive engages automatically at about 54 miles/hr. It was initially installed under the assumption that it would be desired to engage the overdrive at lower speed, but that hasn't been the case for me as I'm very happy how it behaves automatically. The plug under the glove box is just a standard charger, mostly used to charge the phone while driving. Let me know if you have any more questions.
