Yes, the glove compartment goes to the firewall, it has a flat bottom and deep, there is nothing from there to the floor. On my old fords the glove boxes had to be shortened to allow for the hoses to be out of sight. For vents the easiest cleanest is to add a 3” valance to the bottom of the dash for vents and the radio… hope that helps.
