To SELLER, Please contact me ASAP at 781-572-6753 as I would like to get answers to my questions. Also, if you call I will give you my email address so that you can send me photos of the trunk interior’s bare metal, the underside of the trunk lid, and the headliner. If I do not hear from you ASAP (the bidding is about to close) I will assume that either the is rust inside the trunk and/or you do not want to maximize the amount you receive for this beautiful classic. I can outbid anyone, but I will do so only if I am satisfied with the vehicle’s condition.

@karl – How long have you owned this vehicle? When was the complete restoration done to this vehicle, and how many miles have been put on this vehicle - what you call a "true driver" - since the complete restoration was performed? Do you know how many miles are on the engine? Does the AC work? Do the headlights, tail lights, back-up lights, parking lights and interior light work? Do the windshield wipers/washers, radio work? How many miles are on the tires and how old are the tires? Any problems with the clutch/pressure plate, brakes? Is there any rust on the vehicle and/or rust painted or coated over? Can you please provide photos of: (1) the inside of the trunk with nothing covering the bare metal, (2) trunk lid, and (3) headliner? Do all the windows open and close properly? Is there any broken or cracked glass on the vehicle? Are there any floor mats or floor covering(s) for the vehicle's interior? Are there any tears or holes in the seats, upholstery and/or in the trim on the interior of the doors? Do all four doors, trunk lid and hood open easily and close tightly? Are you aware of any damage to the underbody? I want to have the vehicle inspected asap, so kindly provide me with the vehicle's current location (complete address). I am asking a lot because I have been searching for a Rambler for some time (I missed out on a 1959 Ambassador last year ☹ ) and am doing my 'due diligence" as I want to purchase your vehicle. Given your description and comments to others, I assume that I could safely drive this vehicle from Buffalo to eastern Massachusetts. Please let me know if you advise against this. I could book a flight to arrive at the Buffalo airport as early as 10 AM or so July 17th. I could transfer payment (EFT) directly to your account from my bank. I have to get a couple hours of sleep now as I have to work later this morning and afternoon. I will check the AutoHunter website throughout the afternoon. I look forward to receiving your response and additional photos. The sooner you respond the sooner I can get my bid in - Time Is Of The Essence! ~ Best Regards, Karl IMHO: Don't lower your reserve again. Keep in mind the following from the AutoHunter USER AGREEMENT: "In certain circumstances, following the close of an auction, if no bid has met the Seller’s Reserve, The Collector Car Network, LLC (a.k.a. AutoHunter) may offer to pay Seller a separate amount to make up the difference between the Reserve and the highest bid (the “Make Whole Amount”); provided, that if The Collector Car Network, LLC provides such Make Whole Amount to Seller in connection with the foregoing, The Collector Car Network, LLC will provide the Make Whole Amount to the Seller upon provision by the Seller to The Collector Car Network, LLC of a notarized copy of the transfer of vehicle title to the Buyer." ...
Hello, everything truly does work great. When the restoration was done is unknown, we purchased it already restored. There is also no way to tell how many miles have been put on the engine. There is no known damage. And like I said, it’s a nice driver with no major issues. We will be lowering the reserve one more time today as the auction ends this afternoon. You can respond here with any other questions. Good luck and happy bidding.
