@motojoesaddiction2 – Great looking Midget!!! The White & Red looks very "fitting" on the vehicle. I've had 2 MGB's ('75/'78)...an MGB/GT('73) and a '73 Triumph TR6 over a lengthy period of my "affair" w/British Sportscars. Not all at once...mind you, though. Sold the last one (TR6) in 2012...and had that beauty some 18+ years. Now drive (nice weather only) a 2008 Mazda MX-5/GT-PRHT. Love the car...but sort of miss the interesting characteristics of these 1970's era Brit Roadsters. I'm not that far away. And was wondering if the car is roadworthy to drive back to my South Central NYS locale (4 hours)??? Additionally...what does it need (other than what's already been noted) to drive when the weather's nice (or anytime)??? And what does it need to be "Road-Legal" / pass NYS Inspection (not that you'd know NYS inspection rules)??? The leather trunk strap...Is that the only way the trunk lid is secured? Compression on each cylinder? Wish I had seen this auction site days earlier (now I'm a memeber)...as I may have opted to take a drive down to see this roadster. BTW...I "rarely" drove my TR6 with the top up too! (I think a large golf umbrella would suffice in most rain conditions...if stopped or not travelling over 40MPH...LOL!) Thanks! ...
Thanks for your interest! I am not sure what it need to pass NYS inspection. In PA, the antique tag exempts you from annual inspections. The leather strap is the only trunk closing mechanism. The lock was removed when is was painted but I think I still have it. I cannot honestly say about your four-hour drive. It drives great, starts right up and is very responsive, handles great, cornering, steering, etc. These cars won a lot of races back in the day due to the handling!! Have not tested compression.

It latches tight. I was just too lazy to latch it for the pictures. It's unlatched in the pictures. And I never drove it with the top up.
Yes, great car! The pics of the top shows like it doesn’t fasten well in the front. Any issue there?
Thanks for checking out the car! Its a great little sports car. Received numerous car show trophies. No points, electronic ignition. Lights work great. I just installed a new light switch for the main beams and toggle switches operate the running, fog light and reverse lights. I haven't investigated the turn signal issue yet. They have worked at times. The high beams work and they are operated using the turn signal switch arm on the column.
Points ignition? Do running and headlights work well? Any idea on turn signal issue?
