This 2008 BMW 535xi Touring was first sold by Bill Dodge Auto Group in late 2007, where it was consistently maintained from then until 2013. Kept in Florida from 2007 until 2017 before moving to Michigan, this 5 Series touring is powered by a BMW N54 direct-injection twin-turbo inline-six paired with a 6-speed Steptronic automatic transmission and xDrive all-wheel-drive, and is equipped with park distance control, adaptive xenon headlights, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, and CCC-generation iDrive infotainment. Maintenance performed in the past week include replacement of the valve cover gasket, oil, and brake fluid. Finished in Deep Sea Blue over a Cream Beige interior, this 535xi touring is offered with a clean CARFAX report which documents regular servicing and a total of three owners.
This E61 535xi is finished in Deep Sea Blue and is a post-LCI (lifecycle impulse) example with updated visuals such as LED tail lamps with brake force display. Equipment includes adaptive xenon headlights and park distance control, sensors for which are visible on the rear bumper. The lighting package is also equipped, with illumination for the doors and door handles along with the cabin, and the trunk lid is automatic. The fifth generation BMW 5 series was designed under the direction of Chris Bangle and features unique styling within the BMW model portfolio.
Wheels are a set of BMW style 243 five-spokes which were offered as original equipment for the E60 and E61 5 Series.
The interior is lined with Cream Beige Dakota leather which is continued on the door panels. Fine wood trim punctuates the cabin, and appears in places such as the instrument panel, center console, and door panels. CCC-generation BMW iDrive infotainment is present, and operated by the rotary knob behind the shifter. The lighting package includes additional interior illumination for entry and exit along with the trunk. Other amenities and features include dual-zone automatic climate control, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, Homelink, and comfort access keyless entry and start. Wiring is present for satellite radio and a six-disc CD changer.
The gauge cluster contains a 160-mph speedometer and a 7,500-rpm tachometer with a 7,000-rpm redline separated by an LCD multi-function display, along with smaller needles for current fuel economy and the fuel level. A photo of the in-dash service screen shows that fluid levels and brake condition are "OK" as of May 21, 2021.
Responsible for motivation is BMW's N54 direct-injection twin-turbo inline-six which had output of 300 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 295 pound-feet of torque from 1,400 to 5,000 when new. The engine is backed by a ZF 6HP21 6-speed Steptronic automatic transmission which sends power to all four wheels thanks to BMW xDrive. The accompanying CARFAX report documents regular service from the selling dealership taking place from 2007 until 2013, and Florida ownership from new until 2017. Per the seller, recent maintenance consisted of valve cover gasket replacement, oil change, and new brake fluid.
Additional undercarriage photos can be found in the gallery.
Owner's books and literature, two key fobs, and more will go with the car.

@Hollywood – It’s not a “ Twin Turbo” it’s a Twin scroll turbo” which is BMW speak for a single turbo with two different pitches to the turbo impeller to reduce turbo lag - hence the the “ twin scroll” terminology . The only “ true “twin turbo” BMW cars are M cars ...
This is incorrect for the BMW N54 engine, with which this 2005 535i xDrive is equipped. The N54 inline-six uses twin individual turbochargers. BMW started using the TwinPower Turbo moniker with the N55 engine which succeeded the N54 starting in 2009. The N55 (and the B58 which succeeded it) use a single twin-scroll turbo, while the S55 and S58 M engines use twin turbochargers.
@wilmurt – Are temp tags available so car can be driven back to home state? ...
Yes, we have temp tags that will be good up to 30 days.
