7k-Mile 1973 Lincoln Continental Mark IV

This 1973 Lincoln is finished in brown over a brown leather interior and is powered by a 460ci V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission.  Having been acquired by the seller in 2013, it was a single family-owned vehicle for the prior 40 years. The car has been stored the majority of its life, with just over 7k original miles on the odometer.  Equipment includes automatic climate control, power convenience options, leather-trimmed interior.  This Mark IV is now offered with a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name.   

Finished in Dark Brown Metallic, the car retains its original paint as well as white vinyl top with oval opera windows in the sail panels.  Chrome rocker moldings run the entire length of the car, complemented with polished side strips between the front and rear wheels on the middle body line. The rear bumper features integrated taillights with separate reverse lights located to the sides of the license plate opening. The front features hideaway headlights and a vertical grille with chrome surround.

The car rides on the factory 15” wheels with polished disc hubcaps with the Lincoln emblem in the middle. The wheels are mounted to the original Michelin 230R15 tires with a 3/8" white stripe

The car retains the original interior features tufted brown leather bench seats that are power-adjustable as well as plush brown carpeting. The door panels, dash pad and headliner are also finished in brown to match. The two-spoke steering wheel, dash face, and door panels are accented with woodgrain trim. The rear seat belts still obtain their original plastic covering/ The original AM/FM radio is retained in the factory location, just below the climate controls.  The trunk features matching carpeting and includes a full-size spare tire.  

Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, as well as an analog clock and fuel gauge.  The five-digit odometer reads 7k miles, which are actual miles. In 7 years of ownership, the seller has added 45 miles. 

The 460ci Ford V8 engine is original to the car and mated to a C6 3-speed C6 transmission.  The seller indicates that regular oil changes have been performed over the life of the car and that the brakes were serviced recently.  When they acquired the car, the fuel system was cleaned, which included the installation of a new gas tank and a sending unit. Additionally the battery has been recently replaced.
