This 2005 Porsche Boxster has covered just 24,000 kilometers (15,000 miles) since new and is powered by an M97 2.7-liter flat-six paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle. This Boxster was produced in March 2005 and shows long-term ownership in Alberta since new, accompanied by consistent dealership service history and amenities such as automatic climate control, an active rear spoiler, 3M paint protection film and Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Finished in Carmon Red Metallic over a Sand Beige leather interior, this second-generation 987 Boxster is now offered with a clean CARFAX report, a car cover, owner’s booklets, service records, two factory keys, and a clear Alberta registration in the seller’s name.
The 987-Series Boxster debuted with a new body style in model year 2005 bringing larger headlights, larger side intake vents, and bigger wheel arches when compared to prior models. This Boxster is painted Carmon Red Metallic and features a power-operated black retractable convertible top, bi-Xenon headlamps, body-colored slim sideview mirrors, an automatic rear spoiler, and a centrally-mounted exhaust outlet at the rear. The paint finish is protected by a 3M protection film including the front clip, mirrors, windshield surround, and leading edges of the rear quarters.
Silver-painted 18” aluminum wheels are wrapped in new Michelin Pilot Sport tires, and stopping power comes from four-wheel power-assisted disc brakes with ventilated rotors.
The interior is trimmed with Sand Beige upholstery on the power-adjustable and heated bucket seats, with Porsche-embroidered headrests and matching Sand Beige materials for the door panels and dash. The cockpit is contrasted by black carpeting and features a center console and amenities such as a three-spoke steering wheel with the Porsche center crest, a factory AM/FM/CD stereo system, automatic climate control, power convenience, cruise control, and auto-dimming mirrors.
Instrumentation is dominated by a central 8k-rpm tachometer, with a 280-km/h (175-mph) speedometer and accompanying gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer reads approximately 24k kilometers (15k miles), which is a true reading per the seller.
The mid-mounted M97 2.7-liter flat-six had a 236-horsepower factory rating and was serviced in July 2021 including a recharge of the air conditioning system, replacement of the serpentine belt, and replacement of the air filter. Additional service records are available from South Centre Porsche in Calgary, Alberta. Power is directed to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transaxle.
The CARFAX report describes this as an accident, damage-free vehicle. According to VIN analytics, this Boxster carried an original price of $70,445. The sale includes a car cover, Porsche trickle charger, owner’s booklets, service records, two factory keys, original tires and more.

There seems to be a little confusion regarding the Porsche's current tires. I have posted a picture of the bill showing that the new tires were installed on June 22 2021. The old ORIGINAL tires will go with the car if the buyer wants them. The picture of the bill should appear at the end of the picture file.
@paulrmckenna – The original tires are now. Dry rot. Are the tires that are on the car new? ...
The tires that are on the car are brand new and the same as the original tires. I have the original tires, pictured in the white plastic bags, in case a collector wants them.
