@JeffroB – couple of questions -- the one time I bought a car in Canada and had it imported to California there was a lot of paperwork and research to document whether the vehicle met the US safety standards and with that car (a 72 Thunderbird), it had actually been produced/assembled in Los Angeles, but then shipped to the first owner in Canada, so it did have the right tags numbers, etc., and so was allowed to be brought back into the states . The car here says general motors of Canada, which likely has different safety standards than those in the states. So question is whether there are additional tags or documentation that says it would be able to be imported into the states and be registered as a safe vehicle to drive here. ?? and second question is does anybody out there know how all of this tariffs nonsense might affect cars going back-and-forth between collectors either side of the border ?? ...

Hello i understand your concern. But i don’t have any other paper. Sorry there is just this tag.
