It is running great for a 1987 Vanagon Westfalia with the original engine and transmission. That said it is a 38 year old quirky camper that belongs in the slow lane on its way to a national or state park for a long weekend of hiking. If you are looking for a daily driver, you should probably look elsewhere
Is this vehicle really roadworthy? I bought a 82 C10 that is a junk. Needed new front end, battery, alternator and now it needs an engine. Are all your vehicles a risk or was my purchase a 1 in 1000? I’m a disabled veteran who wanted a car in my younger days era. I got junk instead.
BID: $6,000
Is there a reserve?
Hate having to have it delivered bit thats going to be my only option right now
As long as it lasts me a few years my days are short coming. I can no longer drive or id buy a standard shift but my girls cant drive a stick. I justbwanna chase the dream of cruising the states in a vw camper van lol
@1vw2nv – Runs and drives good? Ready for a trip? Lol. Im a disabled vw tech of 19 yrs really interested in this. Any hicups or anything to take it on a trip other than just doing multipoint inspection before trips ...
It passed PA inspection in July. I took it to Kevin Mayer the Philly Vanagon guru this month who has it running great.
