This 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 was first sold by Newt Godfree Chevrolet of San Antonio, Texas, where it would remain for the majority of its life according to the seller. Restored over the course of several years, factory options include cowl induction, front disc brakes, air conditioning, and more, while the 454ci big-block Chevrolet V8 was rebuilt using oval-port cylinder heads. Mulsanne Blue was a Chevrolet factory-offered color from 1970 through 1972 and is listed as the original finish of this 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454. The current finish is described as a respray commissioned by an owner who acquired the car as a project in 2016 and subsequently oversaw completion of the restoration. The blue body is contrasted by black stripes and a black vinyl top, both of which appear on the car's build sheet. A factory Delco radio is also fitted, but the seller describes a hidden sound system.

Power comes from a 454ci big-block Chevrolet V8 comprised of a 3999289 block and 353049 oval-port cylinder heads. The engine was professionally built with performance parts that include a hydraulic roller camshaft, roller rocker arms, an Edelbrock intake, and a Quick Fuel carburetor. Supporting components include an MSD ignition, electric fuel pump, and ceramic-coated Hedman headers. The belts have been upgraded to the modern serpentine style and dual electric fans aid in cooling.

Power is sent to the 12-bolt rear end through a Turbo-Hydramtic 400 3-speed transmission and the exhaust is described as a full 3" system with an H-pipe.
