This 1929 Ford Model A is presented as a largely rust-free, refinished pickup that has been owned by the seller’s family for 15 years and has a straight body, a reupholstered interior, and the original 201ci water-cooled L-head inline-four paired with a 3-speed manual transmission. Features include replacement wood planks in the cargo area, a tilt-adjustable windshield, and drum brakes. Finished in two-tone green with black fenders over a brown vinyl interior, this second-year Model A pickup is now offered with a clear Maryland title in the seller’s name.
Debuting in 1928, the Model A was a successor to Ford’s Model T and sold over four million units in a variety of body styles before production ended in early 1932. This example was assembled in pickup form and was reportedly subject to prior refinishing of the paint and other materials. The steel body is green, having been contrasted by black fenders and a black roofing material with a flat windshield visor. The front and rear bumpers are dual-bar chrome, and a matching full-size spare in a vinyl cover is mounted to the driver-side running board. There is reportedly no rust, and long-term storage has been garage-kept throughout the seller’s ownership.
Factory wire-spoked wheels are refinished in yellow and bear chrome center caps. Stopping power comes from four-wheel mechanical drum brakes.
The interior is fitted with a reupholstered brown vinyl bench seat with matching door panels and a black rubber flooring material. Equipment includes manual-crank side windows, a hand-operated windshield wiper, and a tilt-adjustable front windshield for ventilation.
Instrumentation is held within a bright-finished bezel at the center dash and includes a ribbon-style speedometer, a fuel gauge, and a trip meter. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 53k miles, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The center-hinged hood opens to reveal the numbers-matching 201ci water-cooled L-head inline-four which was rated at 40 horsepower. Power is directed to the rear wheels via a 3-speed manual transmission with a floor-mounted shift lever.

Beautiful truck. I have a 1928 Chev one ton and would love to add this to my collection but it's not in the budget for this year. Good luck with your sale.

@Mike44 – ARE THERE ANY MANUALS FOR THIS TRUCK ...
I have not seen any as of yet. Apparently, they seem fairly easy to pick up on line.
@Mike44 – I SEE NO REAR BUMPERS AS STATED ...
You are correct. No rear bumper. Apologies. I did not catch that in the write up. Thank you for pointing that out. Sorry I took so long to get back to you. days.
