@JeffU – Hello. Very interested in your Spitfire. Can I come see it? What are you asking for it? Also, it looks like you restored the car but not the hard top. Is that correct? Is it running, driving, inspected? Is there a list of things that need to be done to make it reliable? In other words, how are the fuel system, brakes, electronics (any lights not working), compression, block, valves, gaskets, bushings, tie rods, radiator, heater core, etc.? I'm not averse to putting some money into the car, but I'd like to know what I'm looking at. You can email me at [email protected]. I'm a huge fan of lightweight cars (my favorites were my X1/9s), and I always wanted a Spitfire. ...

Hello, my asking price earlier this year was $7500 OBO. I now have to move it along, so price is down. The car is not in need of work to drive it. registered and inspected. Electrical issues earlier this year caused by pinched wires under the seat. Repaired. The other items seem fine to me. The hardtop not restored. Tie rods new (approximately 150 miles ago. Oh, may need front end aligned they didn't do that). I was driving it I just can't physically sit in that position for periods and still use the clutch. You can come see it if needed. Not much time left though.
