@bobcann – What type of engine is it a crate motor or just a used engine or rebuilt? ...
It is a donor engine from a 2010 Chevrolet, which was rear ended. The 2010 had less than 50,000 miles on it. The 5.3 is very attractive donor engine as they historically engine runs long and strong and are easy to work on. There is a minor oil leak but no puddling. My husband would have addressed this but unfortunately was in hospital for forty nine days with open heart surgery he also had intended paint it bright cherry red. Runs & drives great. Truck is rust free Missouri vehicle the only thing I am aware that it needs is glove box liner and side mirrors best regards, Sherry
