This 1996 Ford F150 XLT was first sold by Victoria Ford of Mascoutah, Illinois and was kept by its original owner until 2020 according to the selling dealer and vehicle history report. A final-year, ninth-generation F-Series, this F150 is configured with a Super Cab and a short bed and is powered by a 5.8-liter Windsor V8 mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Finished in Oxford White over a grey cloth interior, this F150 has covered 84k miles during its life and is offered with a clean CARFAX report.
The 1996 model year was the final one of the Ford OBS truck design and this F150 has a Super Cab with a rear bench that seats three. The bed measures seven feet in length and is finished in the same Oxford White as the rest of the exterior. Windows are free of tint and the exterior appears devoid of modifications, with factory trim, graphics, and other appointments remaining in place. A badge from Victoria Ford of Mascoutah, Illinois remains fitted to the lower driver's side of the tailgate.
Wheels are a set of factory items which come wrapped in a matching set of Firestone Destination all-terrain tires with raised white lettering on the outer sidewalls.
Interior upholstery is grey cloth, and light to moderate wear is confined to the drivers seat. Aftermarket carpeted floor mats line the foot wells and the truck is fitted with wiring for trailer lighting and a Tekonsha trailer brake module, but does not have a hitch. The factory Ford cassette deck remains fitted in the instrument panel and four-wheel-drive is operated by a pair of buttons beside the gauge cluster. The four-spoke steering wheel houses an airbag and has buttons for cruise control, and the 4-speed automatic is operated by a column-mounted shifter. Equipment includes air conditioning which is described as working properly by the selling dealer.
The gauge cluster consists of an 85-mph speedometer and a digital odometer which shows 84k miles, both of which are surrounded by dials for the coolant and oil temperature, voltage, and fuel level.
Power is provided by a Ford Windsor 5.8-liter (351ci) pushrod V8, rated at 210 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque when new. The engine is backed by a Ford 4-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case sends power either exclusively to the rear or all four wheels. The front end uses a live axle with locking Warn hubs and other equipment includes ABS and a limited-slip rear differential.
