Good morning, my next question is ,how long have you owned the vw and are you aware of any long or short term history. Secondly, I understand that the Borg Warner auto transmission ,while not popular is in fact a good reliable unit if maintained,fluids etc. Has it been and is it shifting as it should .Best regards,Andy

A question was asked about to rust and issues with the car. There’s no rust all original… some Surface “oxidation” as it started out in Morro Bay… nothing serious all revealed in the pictures. The sporadic fuel gauge has flatlined probably the sending unit and the clock does not work.
