I can't explain the decrepency , but I know the odometer has not rolled over or been manipulated we have had the truck since 82 and if look at odometer the numbers line up straight if it had rolled over or had been manipulated they would not be straight one or more would be off center
BID: $8,000
@tmac6415 – To all bidders, I will accept a wire transfer for payment, and handover title to you or your authorised rep at time of picking up vehicle Or Escrow Service will be considered if buyer is willing to pay all associated fees with escrow transaction Thanks for bidding ...
Thank you.
@tmac6415 – What it shows is original miles ...
Odometer shows 41,655 miles. Most recent AutoCheck odometer reading: 58,988. How do you explain this discrepancy? Are the TOTAL miles on the vehicle 41,655 or has the odometer rolled over?
BID: $7,500

@psehorne – You need to be more flexible. Many, maybe most, bidders are not going to be close enough to you come and pick up the truck and hand you a cashier's check. I would not want to begin to drive an unfamiliar vehicle across country. I've bought several vehicles on auctions from Oregon, Washing, Georgia, and more. In every case I hired a carrier to pick up the vehicle and they do not bring a casher's check. The funds were always wire transferred. Using AutoHunter's Bring a Trailer Verified Checkout, the buyer will wire transfer the funds to AutoHunter's escrow service. You send the title to the escrow company. And you get paid by wire transfer with the same security as a cashier's check, maybe even better security; cashier's checks can be counterfeit. How would you 'verify' a cashier's check? In addition the escrow knows what is required by each state to complete the transfer. Buyers cannot be expected to know what documentation is required to transfer titles between all of the states. You are going to sell the truck for less if you continue to insist only on a 'Verified Cashier's Check'. You are losing bidders by being inflexible. As stated I am willing to bid much more..... Please reconsider. Perhaps a conversation with AutoHunter will calm your fears. Thanks, Paul ...
Great advice. Thanks for sharing with seller.
