For anyone worried about tariffs I ask Google about it. (If a US citizen buys an 60 year old car built in Canada from Canada is there any tariffs going back into the USA ) Answer=There are generally no standard tariffs when importing a 60-year-old Canadian-built car into the USA, but you will still owe a flat 2.5% U.S. Customs duty based on the vehicle's purchase price.Because the car is over 25 years old, it is entirely exempt from U.S. EPA and DOT safety regulations, and vehicles made in Canada are broadly exempt from modern punitive auto tariffs.
