Fair question. The A/C was inoperative when I purchased the car, so I do not know the specific cause of the issue. I primarily used the Corvette for fair-weather morning and weekend drives in the San Francisco Bay Area, where temperatures are generally mild if not sweatshirt cool, so functioning air conditioning was not important to my use. The June 2026 PPI was intended to evaluate the car's overall mechanical, structural, and drivability condition. The shop noted the system was not blowing cold air but did not recommend any A/C repairs. By sharing this information, bidders can make their own assessment and decide whether and how to repair, restore, or upgrade the system based on their intended ownership needs and preferences.
