This 1973 Chevrolet Corvette coupe was purchased by the seller in 2012 as one of 25,521 coupes produced for the model year and is now available for sale in Middletown, New Jersey with under 73,000 miles of experience on the odometer. Powered by the original matching-numbers 454ci big block LS4 V-8 paired with an automatic transmission, the car comes equipped with bucket seats, seat belts, heater/defroster, tachometer and disc brakes as standard and is optioned with air conditioning, power brakes, power steering, power windows, AM/FM radio and telescopic steering column. The seller offers a clean New Jersey title along with all service documentation, the alarm key and stock induction system with the sale.
Finished in Corvette Silver Mist Poly (14-914) with chrome Stingray badging and rear bumpers as accents, an updated hood featuring cold-air induction was introduced in 1973 as well as the addition of a body-color matching urethane front bumper to replace the chrome design from 1972 and earlier models. T-tops are equipped and functional as shown in photos along with a keyed alarm system.
Standard steel wheels are fitted with Goodyear Eagle GTII rubber and handling is assisted by power steering and power brakes which were recently serviced with new rotors and calipers. The seller reports that the frame is in great condition and the underside of the car has been treated with undercoating.
The bucket seat interior is finished in black with wood grain and stainless accent pieces and features leather seat upholstery and Stingray embossed carpeting. Equipment includes AM/FM radio, power windows, air conditioning, heater/defroster, and a telescopic steering column as well as T-top storage space located behind the seats.
A 160-MPH speedometer and 7,000-RPM tachometer are framed by the 3-spoke steering wheel and additional dials for fuel level, coolant temperature, battery voltage, oil pressure, and clock are mounted in a panel behind the shifter. The odometer reads 72,827.
The forward-opening hood reveals the original, matching-numbers 454ci LS4 big-block V-8 bolted to an automatic transmission and sporting an updated Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, electronic ignition system conversion, aftermarket finned valve covers, and air cleaner. The seller reports no mechanical issues and has the original manifold and air induction system to be included in the sale.

@jason69 – Thanks for response Any rust /rust through on frame or birdcage ...
Sorry I did not respond re: the birdcage. It is solid, straight and without rust, other than some light surface rust toward the front end of the frame. The underside was undercoated.

@jason69 – So engine code shows it was standard trans, did you do the automatic swap, or was it done prior. And came from California originally. ...
The car runs, drives, and handles very well. It's fast and tight. The engine is original per the stamping and came as an automatic. I have done nothing to the car in terms of modifications to the drivetrain. The top is rust free, solid, and fits tightly. It does not leak.
@Joe44 – When was the car last painted, a/c working, all electrical working, turn signals working, gaskets look like needs replace etc. ...
Apologies for the delayed response. Had trouble signing in. I do not know when the car was last painted. I purchased the car in 2012 and have done nothing to it. The A/C works and so do the turn signals. The car needs nothing in terms of maintenance.
