This 1968 Pontiac Firebird convertible is offered for sale in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and powered by a 350ci Pontiac V8 paired with an automatic transmission. The car is equipped with standard bucket seats, seat belts and heater/defroster as well as optional power brakes, power steering, and AM/FM radio. A total of 16,960 base convertible Firebirds were produced in 1968 and this example is now offered by the selling dealer on a clean Michigan title.
Finished in deep red with a white convertible top and chrome bumpers and accents, the car features Pontiac's mild styling updates for 1968 including deleted vent windows, curved front turn signal lights, and an illuminated Pontiac badge on both rear quarters. A White convertible top is equipped which is shown to function properly in the photos.
15" factory correct Ralley II wheels are fitted and come wrapped in a set of Goodyear Eagle ST's. Optional power steering is equipped along with power brakes which provide stopping power to four-wheel drums.
The interior finish consists of black vinyl upholstery over bucket seats with matching black carpeting, door panels, and dash pad accented by woodgrain and stainless trim pieces. Equipment includes heater/defroster, AM/FM radio, manual hand cranking windows, and lap belts for the driver and passenger.
Instrumentation is framed by a 3-spoke Pontiac badged steering wheel and includes a dial for fuel level as well as a 160-MPH speedometer. The odometer reads 114,885 miles of experience at the time photos were taken.
Satin black finish covers the underside of the hood as well as the engine bay which is home to a 350ci Pontiac V8 equipped with a 4 barrel carburetor and factory rated for 320hp in 1968. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a 3 speed automatic transmission.

It doesn't have AC, that's pretty rare in a convertible. You can always retrofit a new Vintage AC system on it. The top is power and in good shape and the interior is new.
