This 1941 Lincoln Continental two-door coupe exemplifies a top-tier restoration under a Tuxedo Black exterior that is capped off with whitewall tires, a rear-mounted spare, wheel skirts, and push-button door releases. Power is generated by an L-Head 292ci V12 paired with a 3-speed manual transmission, and interior niceties include gold-finished dash trim, full gauges, and a fully carped trunk. Finished in Tuxedo Black over a reupholstered red leather interior, this Continental is now offered with a clear Arkansas title.
The Continental model launched in 1940 as a luxury car on the Lincoln Zephyr platform, and in 1941 received updates including fender-mounted marker lights and push-button door releases. This example is painted Tuxedo Black which was reportedly a respray over its original red. Exterior design is augmented by rear wheel skirts and a trunk-mounted continental kit, and brightwork consists of front and rear bumpers, grille, sideview mirrors, and more. There are scripted Lincoln Continental badges on the front fenders, and this car wears a placard with body number 16H-57-658.
Factory 15” steel wheels have beauty rings and Lincoln-branded hubcaps, having been wrapped in wide whitewall tires. The suspension is comprised of leaf springs and drum brakes at all four corners.
The interior is fitted with reupholstered fold-forward red leather seats with matching lap belts, door panels, and carpeting, while the dash has been painted with a mahogany look. Gold accents are featured throughout the interior brightwork and there is a prominent Lincoln badge at the center dash. The trunk is carpeted on all sides in tan.
Instrumentation is portrayed by a 110-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 8k miles, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The L-Head 4.8-liter 292ci V12 features a single carburetor, and power is directed to the rear wheels via a column-shifted 3-speed manual transmission.

We found it for the last 5 years. Bought it from a friend whose brother had died in Oklahoma. It was in his estate. His brother was convinced that the car was owned by Frank Lloyd wright. And it very easily could have been all the signs are there. But I'm not selling it in that regard because we can't actually trace the title back.
@Bobestes100 – All dash instrumentation working? ...
Yes to all your questions. It has been sitting in a collection for the past few years and exercise infrequently although when it was everything was like it should be.
