This 1929 Ford Model A four-door sedan employs an all-steel body with rear-hinged rear doors and has been updated with modern content including air conditioning, a CD player, cruise control, and a small-block V8 powerplant. Under the hood resides a replacement Chevrolet 350ci V8 paired with an automatic transmission, and cosmetic attributes around the exterior include aluminum wheels, a windshield visor, and a luggage rack. Finished in purple over a two-tone gray and purple vinyl reupholstered interior, Model A is now offered with a clear California title in the seller’s name.
This Model A four-door features a steel body with rear-hinged rear doors and was subject to a restoration that included the application of a respray in purple. Color-coordination extends to the fenders and a windshield visor, while the running boards are topped with black rubber non-slip material. Brightwork is said to be in good condition throughout, including dual-bar front and rear bumpers, the radiator shell, headlight housings, and a wood-accented luggage rack at the rear.
Polished aluminum five-spoke wheels are mounted to Goodyear staggered-width tires. Handling and braking have been enhanced with an independent suspension, disc brakes at the front, and drums in the rear.
The interior has been reupholstered in two-tone with bench seats front and rear. Materials include vinyl borders and patterned purple cloth inserts, and similar treatment extends to matching door panels with map pockets. The dash has been upholstered in gray suede material and is complemented by matching carpeting. Modern conveniences include an under-dash air conditioning unit, a Grant steering wheel, cruise control, and a Sony AM/FM/CD head unit.
Instruments are aftermarket white-faced units mounted across the face of the dash, including a speedometer as well as readouts for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The odometer reads 11k miles, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The center-hinged hood opens up to a replacement 350ci V8 which draws fuel from three fuel cells and is cooled by an electric fan. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via an automatic transmission and a floor-mounted shift lever.

Frame has been boxed and reinforced. I did not build the car so not sure if it is stock or custom frame.
Did you put the body onto a new frame or did you reinforce the original frame. Donald
