This 1982 Jeep CJ-7 has been with the seller for approximately 1-year and was the recipient of a body-off restoration including a new tub throughout that time. Powered by a 258ci inline-six paired with a column-shifted automatic transmission, the Jeep is equipped with a custom console-mounted stereo receiver, heater/defroster, and "Quadra-Trac" 4-wheel drive system. Recent updates commissioned by the seller through 2020 include new flooring, locking hubs, Dana 300 transfer case, radiator, alternator, the starter solenoid, and a full mechanical tune-up. Located in Willards, Maryland, a clean title in the seller's name is offered with the sale.
Finished in a respray of its original green with gold flake, the body tub was replaced by the seller with one from a later model "YJ" Wrangler along with a fresh front clip but still wears the original sheet metal doors. The hardtop is tan and comes with matching full doors as well as an additional soft top with hardware and soft doors. The seller notes a small amount of rust on the door hinges and an unpainted rear bumper along with common door seal and hood vent leaks which can allow water to get in on rainy days.
Aftermarket gold 15-inch wheels have been fitted over fresh locking hubs on the front and come wrapped in 31"x10.5" Uniroyal Liberator A/T's. Leaf spring suspension sits at stock ride height complete with 4-wheel manual drum brakes and power steering.
Bucket seating is said to be original and appears to be in great condition while fresh carpeting, floor mats, and an aftermarket center console with an integrated stereo receiver were installed last year.
Instrumentation is housed in the center of the body-matching dash panel and consists of an 85-MPH speedometer with integrated fuel level and coolant temperature reading and separate dials for battery voltage and oil pressure. The odometer displayed 95,811 miles when photographed and its accuracy is currently unknown.
A 258ci inline-six provides power to all four wheels and shifts automatically by way of an optional TH-400 automatic transmission bolted to a "Quadra-Trac" transfer case. Recent servicing to the drivetrain includes new spark plugs and plug wires, vacuum lines, radiator, alternator, the starter solenoid, and an oil change. The seller reports the transmission shifter assembly could use replacement and that the engine uses roughly 1-quart of oil every 1,000 miles driven.
The underside was inspected during the body swap process and additional photos detailing the condition of this Jeep throughout can be found in the gallery.

@VitaminC914 – Thank you for the reply. The pics show a set of chrome rims. That is why I was asking ...
Gotcha. I traded the chrome for the rims on it now.

@DEhris6575 – Just one set. The White rim is just the spare. The voltage meter drops in and out. All other gauges and lights work fine. I put a used bumper on a few months ago. It hasn't been painted and has some superficial rust. ...

@VitaminC914 – do you have both sets of wheels? Do all the gauges and lights work? looking at the rear bumper guards, looks like there is some rust there. Is there rust or is it just the way the pic looks? ...
