This 1956 Ford C-750 Big Job truck is the product of a professional custom restoration completed 6 years ago and is now offered for sale after 2 years of ownership by the seller. Powered by a 7.3L International diesel V-8 paired with an Allison 4-speed automatic transmission, the truck is customized with air suspension, power brakes, power steering, power windows, a hydraulic tilt bed, power ramps, a winch, and more. Located in Davenport, Iowa, a clean title in the seller's name will be included with the sale.
Finished in red, the truck was repainted approximately 6 years ago during the overhaul and appears to have remained in excellent condition along with the chrome-accented grille and trim pieces. The bed is 21-feet in length and features a working remote hydraulic tilting mechanism, power ramps, and a winch along with two batteries and dual fuel tanks underneath.
A set of Alcoa aluminum wheels are fitted over the top of power disk brakes on all four corners along with power steering, an air parking brake, rear air suspension, and air-assisted front suspension.
Bench seating is finished with red and gray upholstery over black carpeting and a body-matching red dash panel. Air conditioning is equipped along with power windows and a custom stereo complete with an AM/FM radio and CD player.
Instrumentation is integrated into one large dash piece including an 85-MPH speedometer and 3,500-RPM tachometer.
A 7.3L 16-valve International Diesel V-8 paired with an Allison 4-speed automatic transmission has been swapped under the cab and confirmed to run and drive properly with recent servicing. The engine was purchased off the shelf having been used as a test engine initially and was obtained in new condition with roughly 50 hours of use before installation in the truck.
