Vehicle Story

This 2004 Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle Softail Deuce motorcycle is finished in Cobalt blue with black accents and is powered by a 1,550cc twin-cam engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.  It was previously owned and ridden by Bob Bondurant, famed 1965 FIA World Champion racing driver and founder of the Bob Bondurant School of High-Performance Driving, and has been owned by the seller for ten years in Arizona. Equipment includes chrome suspension components, sequential port fuel injection system, and low-rise handlebars. Based on the standard softtail, the Screamin Eagle Duece was available through Harley Davidson's Custom Vehicle Operations, known as CVO. This Screamin’ Eagle Duece is now offered with a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

Finished in Cobalt Blue, chrome accents utilized throughout the bike include handlebars, custom headlight, riser cover, exhaust system, front forks, and more. The gas tank features a two-tone Blue and black finish separated with red pinstriping that carries onto the front and rear fenders. The front end is equipped with a halogen headlamp and turn signals.

The 3-spoke Detonator wheels were made specifically for the model and are 21” up front and 17” in the rear.  The braking system is equipped with dual cross-drilled rotors in the front and single rotor in the rear with 4-piston calipers on both ends.

The black leather seat and pillion are unique to the Screamin Eagle Duece. Upholstered in black leather, the seat features a deeper sitting position providing better low back support for riders.

Instrumentation includes a metal-faced electronic speedometer and tachometer, odometer, and trip meter.  The odometer reads approximately 4k miles, of which about 1k miles have been added by the seller in ten years of ownership. The handlebars feature dual chrome side mirrors as well as controls for throttle, clutch, ignition, and lights.

The twin-cam 1,550cc “95B” motor has pushrod-operated valves with hydraulic self-adjusting lifters. The oiling system consists of a dry-sump setup and a spin-on pressurized oil filter. The control cables and clutch lines are protected in stainless steel coverings.  The seller indicates that this motorcycle has had regular service history, with the most recent maintenance was an oil change in March 2020.
