1994 Volkswagen Bus

This 1994 Volkswagen Type 2 Kombi is a Brazilian-market Bus with a custom ladder, a luggage rack, newer paint, and a clean interior that was imported to the United States in October 2021. Power comes from a rebuilt air-cooled 1.6-liter flat-4 paired with a 4-speed manual transaxle. Finished in Dark Blue over a neutral patterned three-row cloth interior, this Bus is now offered with importation paperwork and a clear Florida title.

With origins dating back to the mid-1950s, the Volkswagen Bus went on to be sold in various global markets under different names and body configurations. This Kombi Bus from 1994 originated in Brazil and was imported to the United States in October 2021. The Dark Blue paint was refreshed in 2021 and the brightwork was redone. The body features sliding side windows, chrome bumpers and side mirrors, a tow hitch, a roof basket, and a ladder.

Aftermarket 15-inch wheels are wrapped in 195/65-series General Altimax HP tires that are reportedly one year old. Stopping power comes from discs up front and drums in the rear.

The three-row, eight-passenger interior is fitted with neutral patterned cloth upholstery and gray vinyl door panels, a black dashboard, and a rubber floor covering. Access to the back rows is provided by barn-style doors on the passenger side. The audio system is a Pioneer radio with overhead speakers. The seller notes that the top of the dashboard is cracked.

Instrumentation includes a 160-kph speedometer and auxiliary readouts for the fuel level and more. The digital odometer reads 35K kilometers (22K miles), which reflects the mileage after the engine was rebuilt.

The rear-mounted, air-cooled 1.6-liter flat-4 was rebuilt, according to the seller. Power is directed to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted 4-speed manual transaxle. A mechanical inspection was performed before the vehicle was imported into the U.S.
