This 1989 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA is powered by a 350ci V8 with Tuned Port Injection that sends its power to the road through a 4L60 4-speed automatic transmission. Features include power door locks, seats, steering, air conditioning, and a stereo with equalizer. This Bright Red 1989 Pontiac Trans Am GTA is available now from a dealer and comes with a clean Carfax report and a clear title.
The 1989 Pontiac Trans Am GTA had a production run of 8,470 units, 1,475 of which came in Bright Red. The reportedly rust-free body of this particular GTA features pop-up headlights and a GTA-specific hood and ground effects package. Black door handles and color-keyed mirror caps and side trim complete the exterior. The seller states the rear spoiler is cracked. Chips and scratches in the paint can be seen in the photos in the picture gallery to the right.
A set of factory 16-inch gold cross-laced wheels with a brushed lip are wrapped in 245/50R16 Ohtsu radial tires. According to the selling dealer, they have 2019 date codes.
The interior has original cloth bucket seats, front and rear, with gray-accented door panels and headliner. Gray carpeting extends into the trunk area.
The gray and black dashboard houses a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the battery, water temperature, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 89,176 miles. A headlamp rocker switch with gauge dimmer adjustment can be found at the left. A black center console has controls for the power windows, locks, and mirrors. The automatic shifter, emergency brake lever, and ashtray complete the center console. Other features include a tilt steering column, cruise control, air conditioning, and an AM/FM cassette stereo with an equalizer and steering wheel-mounted controls.
The original 5.7L V8 with Tuned Port Injection is paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. New O2, mass airflow, and coolant temperature sensors were recently installed.
The selling dealer charges a $299 documentation fee.

@Buickcitykid – Please state how the TA starts, runs and drives. Does it puff smoke from worn valve seals on start up? (common) Has been painted or been any paint work? Thanks ...
Thanks for your interest in this great car! It runs, drives, and stops beautifully; has a lot of power and does not smoke when it starts. I will be uploading a video soon. The paint is original to the best of my knowledge, as per the prior owner. Let me know if you have any other questions
