Vehicle Story

This 1974 Porsche 911 coupe is finished in Copper Brown Metallic over a Cinamon leatherette interior and is powered by a 2.7-liter flat 6 cylinder engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.  Sold new in California, the car spent the majority of its life there before being acquired by the selling dealer. Equipment includes fog lamps, Koni shocks, power windows, an electric sunroof, front & rear sway bars, and a front spoiler.  Located in Omaha, Nebraska, this G-series 911 is now offered by the selling dealer on a clean Nebraska title.

Finished in its factory shade of Copper Brown Metallic, the car is equipped with impact-absorbing bumpers front and rear. The front is equipped with a black chin spoiler and rectangular fog lights while the rear features a black engine grille and black bumperettes. Brightwork includes polished trim around all windows, door handles as well as headlight trim rings, while the side mirrors are finished to match the body. The car is also equipped with a factory electric sunroof, which functions without issue. Additional factory options include rear vent windows and tinted glass all around.

The factory forged 15” alloy Fuchs wheels are finished in black with a polished lip and colored Porsche crests on the center caps. The wheels are mounted to 195/65 Pirelli P6000 tires on all four corners, which is the correct brand for what the car was originally equipped with.  The suspension features Koni shocks with front and rear sway bars while the brake system consists of cross-drilled rotors and two-piston calipers all around.

The Cinnamon interior features front bucket seats upholstered in leatherette with matching door panels. Tan carpeting covers the floor pan with original style black and gold weave floormats. The dash face and pad are finished in black, along with the armrests on the doors, grab handles, and rear package tray. The factory steering wheel has been replaced with a 3-spoke MOMO Prototip wheel with a leather rim. Features include power windows, heater, fold-down rear seats, and air conditioning, which is currently inoperable due to the system not being hooked up, but the seller states all the parts are included with the car.

Instrumentation includes a 150-mph speedometer, 8k-rpm tachometer, and accompanying gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level.  The five-digit odometer reads 37k miles, which is not believed to be original.

The 2.7-liter flat-6 engine is not original to the car but is the correct displacement for the year.  The engine recently underwent a comprehensive service and runs with no issues.  Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual Type 915/06 transmission.

Additional underside photos are available in the gallery.

Included in the sale are a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, original owners manual, original steering wheel and service records.

@DEANO911 – Hopefully, the owner really wants to SELL this car vice fishing for fluffers to bid and needlessly run the price up for something they never truly wanted to buy. The market will give you true value; without a BUYER it isn't worth $0.02... You are a SELLER - I am a BUYER - not just a fluf bidder. ...

Fisherman... A non-numbers matching car with a motor swap and a 1975 Type 915/06 transmission that may or may not belong to this car? Reserve not met at $40K bid? C-Ya! Deano
