This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette convertible has been owned by the seller for the last 43 years and recently received a frame-off restoration. It is powered by a blueprinted and rebuilt 350ci LT1 V8 engine backed by a rebuilt Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. Features include manual steering and brakes, manual windows, an aftermarket AM/FM digital stereo, side pipes, and new brakes and tires. This refinished red C2 Corvette with a black vinyl interior is available now and comes with New York registration in the seller’s name.
The exterior has reportedly been put through a frame-off restoration and refinished by Corvettes & Performance Specialties. Features include chrome bumpers, roll-over headlights, side pipes, quad taillights, and a rear-mounted antenna.
The 15" x 8" steel Chevrolet Rally wheels have been color-matched to the body and come equipped with stainless steel center caps and trim rings. According to the seller, the radial tires are new.
The bucket seats, door panels, and center console armrest are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include black carpeting, a center console with a Muncie 4-speed manual shifter, a 3-spoke steering wheel with a wood rim, a vertically oriented aftermarket AM/FM digital stereo, and manual windows, brakes, and steering.
A 160-mph speedometer, 7K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure are mounted in a black panel ahead of the driver. An aftermarket Sunpro 8K-rpm tachometer is mounted to the steering column. The odometer reads 21,000 miles but the true mileage is unknown.
Power is provided by a blueprinted and rebuilt 350ci LT1 Chevrolet V8 engine that reportedly produces 500 horsepower at the wheels. That is backed by a rebuilt Muncie 4-speed transmission and a 4.56:1 Positraction rear end. Underhood features include manual brakes and steering, cast aluminum Holley M/T valve covers, and a 4-barrel carburetor.
This Corvette came factory-equipped with independent front and rear suspensions. According to the seller, the brakes are new.

If this car had a frame off restoration recently I assume the underneath pictures must have been taken before it was done. Do you have current pictures of the restored underneath?

Cool looking Corvette! Not sure about those 4.56 gears though. Probably turning 4000 RPM at 70mph, maybe more. Definitely not a highway cruiser but would be great for those stoplight drags!
