OVERVIEW
This restored 1971 Chevrolet Camaro has been with the seller for six months and is powered by an upgraded, rebuilt 327ci V8 engine backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a factory rear window defogger, power steering, and power brakes. New parts include the door panels, seat upholstery, carpet, center console, AM/FM Bluetooth radio, and speakers. Refinished in Corvette Red with black stripes over a black vinyl interior, this rust-free second-generation Camaro is available now and comes with the removed original vinyl top trim, service records, receipts, and a clear California title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
Originally painted in Antique Green (paint code 49) with a black vinyl top, this Camaro is now finished in Corvette Red with black Z28 stripes. Features include a chrome split front bumper, a black grille with a color-keyed surround, a black front chin spoiler, color-keyed sport mirror housings, a manual remote driver-side mirror, a rear spoiler, quad taillights with integrated reverse lights, and a chrome rear bumper. The seller notes that all of the chrome trim is present and the original chrome trim for the removed vinyl top will be included with the sale.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 5-spoke aluminum American Racing wheels is wrapped in staggered-size radial tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The front bucket seats, rear seat, and door panels are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include black trim, black carpeting, a center console with a locking compartment and a horseshoe automatic shifter, and a factory electric rear window defogger. Additional features include a black dashboard with a black padded top, manual windows, power steering, and power brakes. The seller states that the Bluetooth-compatible AM/FM stereo, speakers, door panels, dash pad, seat upholstery, carpet, and center console are new.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 130-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for the fuel level, amperage, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. With 350 miles added during ownership, the odometer reads 12K miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown. The seller states that all of the gauges and the clock are functional.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 1967 Corvette-sourced 327ci V8 which has been rebuilt and equipped with roller rockers, a mild camshaft, and a three-speed automatic transmission. Underhood features include finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner, an aluminum intake, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and a chrome radiator mounting panel. According to the seller, a new starter with a heat shield and a new battery has been installed and all wiring has been redone.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Camaro was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power brakes. A full-length dual-exhaust system exits at the rear.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The seller will include the original vinyl top trim, service records, and receipts with the sale.

@rcopo69 – I did not see in the description that it was a Van Nuys Plant built Camaro, so I'm sorry for the question. So the 7th digit in the VIN is L ?? Thanks Again, Rick S. ...
Yes, the L is for the Van Nuys plant
@Jacobl – I would like to set up an appointment to see your vehicle. I live near Temecula. Can this be done? Do you have documentation reflecting if any recent engine or transmission work has been done? When you purchased your vehicle we’re you informed of any accidents the Camaro might have been involved in? Thanks Steve ...

Of course. I will send you my number on a private message. The car has clean title and accident free to our knowledge. Previous owner had it in a temperature controlled garage and did never took it out in the rain. It is very well taken care of. We have receipts for all parts that recently been switched, but nothing for for engine or transmission.
