@FConte65 – do you have any documentation to verify if any of the cowl tag information is correct? ...
The cowl tag is provided in the gallery for everyone to decode. I have taken the liberty to decode it for you using this resource: http://chevellestuff.net/qd/tags/1967/bal/bal_decode.htm Here is the decoded info, please verify with any of your resources online: Line 1: 01D - Fisher Body Assembly date of January, 1st week 528 - Job # ony found on Baltimore and Kansas City cowl tags Line2: 67 - 1967 13817 - SS396 2-Dr Sport Coupe BAL - Balitimore, Maryland assembly plant 3214 - Fisher Body unit #; it has nothing to do with the VIN 763 - Black Imitation Leather AA - Black lower body, Black upper body 135824 - This number is found on Baltimore tags and matches information on the Trim Sheet as well as the Body Broadcast Sheet. However it is of no real significance today as far as options are concerned. I do not have any documentation to verify this information other than the resource website I used to decode the cowl tag. I hope this helps answer your questions. Thank you!

We're in our final 5 hours of our auction so get those questions and bids in now please ;) Don't miss out on this truly amazing '138' code SS!! Worth noting it's also a Muncie M22 "Rock Crusher" four-speed manual so it checks a lot of the correct boxes. This gorgeous 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS is a hoss and shows even better in person! Happy bidding!!
@MonteA – acheron800, I don't know anything about Autobarn, but as someone that has sold several cars on AutoHunter I can assure you they are very legit and reputable. Just because you are new and don't understand how something works, don't assume that it is shady. ...
@Acheron800 I realize AutoHunter auctions are a bit different than some you may be familiar with, but rest assured AutoBarn & AutoHunter conduct all of our auctions with the utmost honesty and integrity. As the GM, I would not work with them if that was not the case.
