OVERVIEW
This frame-up-restored 1958 Chevrolet Impala is powered by a 350ci V8 backed by a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. Features include body modifications, sport mirror caps, a louvered hood, and a 1958 Buick grille insert. Finished in Candy Apple Bright Red over a two-tone gray cloth interior, this first-year Impala comes with awards, restoration and build documentation, a gray cloth engine cover, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior is finished in Candy Apple Bright Red. Features include chrome bumpers, a 1958 Buick grille insert, a shaved and louvered hood, chrome dummy spotlights, color-matched sport mirror caps, Impala side trim, a power antenna, and a shaved trunk lock. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 14-inch sawblade-style aluminum wheels is wrapped in Pirelli radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bench seat, rear seat, and door panels are upholstered in gray cloth. Features include manual steering and brakes, a column-mounted shifter, manual windows, and an AM radio.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 31,000 miles, which the seller reports to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 350ci V8 and backed by a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include a body-color firewall and a chrome air cleaner. The seller states that the thermostat and spark plugs were replaced in October 2022, and a new battery was installed in March 2023.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Impala was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Stopping is performed by manual brakes. The exhaust exits through lake pipes under the rock panels. The seller states that the rear brake shoes, wheel cylinders, hoses, and lines have been replaced.

Thanks for your inquiry. Sorry to take so long to get back to you on your question. But wanted to take the car to a body shop to discern what the deal was with the hood. The body shop guy said it’s nothing more than an adjustment the hood is not bent or crank out of shape but he can’t get to it for 2 to 3 weeks

What is up with the hood on the Drivers side?
Are you saying that the 31,000+ miles is after the restoration and an engine rebuild or the complete car has that many original mile. Has any front end work such as ball joints tie rod assembly, pitman and idler arm and so on? Please let me know and thank you for your time Dan
