OVERVIEW
This frame-off, rotisserie-restored 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS has over $3,000 invested in polishing the original chrome. It is powered by a period-correct 396cid V8 backed by a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include manual steering and brakes, bucket seats, a center console, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and a Chevrolet Caprice rear bumper. Finished in Marina Blue over a Bright Blue vinyl interior, this Impala comes from the selling dealer with receipts and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration completed in 2022, the body was refinished in the original color of Marina Blue (code F) and the original chrome was polished. Features include chrome bumpers, an aluminum grille, a fender-mounted antenna, Impala SS emblems, wheel opening moldings, dual rearview mirrors, and the taillights and rear bumper from a 1967 Chevrolet Caprice.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of Chevrolet Rally wheels with 1967 nipple-style center caps and trim rings is wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bucket seats and the rear seat, rear trim, and door panels have been reupholstered in the trim tag-correct Bright Blue (code 844) vinyl. Features include manual windows and steering, a center console-mounted automatic transmission shifter, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo with kick-panel speakers.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, fuel gauge, and clock are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 25,941 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a period-correct 325-horsepower 396cid V8 sourced from a 1967 Caprice that had 91,000 miles on it. The engine was overhauled during the restoration and mated to a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, a chrome air cleaner lid, and an aluminum radiator.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Impala is equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid 12-bolt rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The selling dealer will include receipts for the chrome polishing and other components as part of the sale.
