OVERVIEW
This customized 1970 Jeep CJ-5 4x4 utility vehicle shows 26,737 miles and draws power from a Dauntless 225cid V6 mated to a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Upgrades include a Pioneer audio system, 17-inch aluminum wheels, a rollbar, and a Grant steering wheel. Finished in green and equipped with a black vinyl removable soft top over a black cloth interior, this CJ-5 is now offered by the selling dealer with service manuals and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior was repainted under prior ownership in green with blue accenting flames on the front clip. Features include a black bumper, a fold-down windshield, dual jerry cans, a tow hitch, and a full-size spare tire and wheel on a swing-away mount.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Polished aluminum 17-inch Pro Comp Xtreme wheels are wrapped in 245/35 Goodyear Fortera all-terrain tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior is trimmed with black cloth high-back bucket seats, matched to the flooring and the vinyl two-seat rear bench. Features include a body-color dash face, a tubular rollbar, a Grant steering wheel, a Pioneer AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo, and a heater.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 90-mph speedometer with inset gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 26,737 miles, which the selling dealer asserts is true mileage.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The Dauntless 225cid V6 was reportedly serviced in early September. Power is transferred to all four wheels via a floor-shifted three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
