No Reserve: 38k-Mile 1991 Dodge Stealth

This 1991 Dodge Stealth hatchback is one of 154 produced in Kutani Red for the model year, and it is a one-owner original car showing only 38k miles.  It is finished in Kutani Red over a charcoal leather interior and is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission.  The car was originally sold in Closter, New Jersey and it has resided in New Jersey its entire life.  Currently located in Lodi, New Jersey, this Stealth is now offered by the selling dealer with a CARFAX report on a clean New Jersey title.

The car is finished Kutani Red (R25) and is 1 of 154 produced in this one-year-only color combination.  It is a slick top roof configuration with no sunroof and has signature pop-up headlamps, hood bulges, and aerodynamic cockpit design with a hatchback rear glass and rear wiper.  The car is in stock configuration and has a full-width taillight panel, black bodyside moldings, and factory accessory splash guards.  There are dual polished exhaust tips at the left rear.

Factory 5-spoke 16” directional aluminum wheels with dark gray center caps are mounted to 225/55 Cooper tires on all four corners.  The vehicle has four-wheel independent suspension as well as front & rear disc brakes.

The interior is fitted with black carpeting and charcoal leather bucket seats with a matching center console.  The seating configuration is 2+2, and the front seats fold forward for rear access and the rear compartment accessible through the rear hatch.  A modern Pioneer/Sony radio has been installed in place of the factory head unit and retains the factory speakers.  The interior is free of sun fading or damage and only has minor wear to the driver’s seat bolster and light distortion of front plastic defrost vents. A rear sunshade and a tool kit are included in the sale. 

Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer, along with a fuel gauge within the cluster.  Three separate gauges are housed in pods near the center dash and display oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage.  The 6-digit mechanical odometer reads 38k miles, which are original to the vehicle.

The 3.0-liter SOHC V6 is original to the vehicle.  The CARFAX indicates that the vehicle was serviced in October 2020, including an oil and filter change, brake check, drivetrain check, cooling system check, and tire check.  The engine bay has some notations present from prior servicing.  Power is transferred to the front wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission with a console-mounted shift lever.

The CARFAX report indicates a damage report in 2003 involving the right center pillar with no other information provided, and the vehicle was subsequently inspected.  An owner’s manual is included in the sale.
