1964 CHEVROLET CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE L75 327/300 4-SPEED

OVERVIEW

This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray convertible is powered by its numbers-matching L75 327cid small-block V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission. It is equipped with a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a radio, whitewall tires, and power brakes. Finished in Riverside Red and equipped with an off-white retractable top over a black vinyl interior, this C2 Corvette is now offered by the selling dealer with a matching removable hardtop, hardtop cart, and clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The Riverside Red (code 923) exterior was restored under prior ownership to show quality standards, according to the selling dealer. Features include pop-up headlights, chrome brightwork, an off-white soft top, rocker moldings, an antenna, and a dual exhaust system.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

Steel 15-inch wheels with hubcaps and spinner center caps are wrapped in 205/75 whitewall tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cockpit has been refurbished with black vinyl bucket seats (code STD), matched to the door panels, dash, lap belts, and carpeting. Features include embroidered floor mats, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and a vertically mounted radio.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges showing the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 84,165 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The numbers-matching L75 327cid small-block V8 was rated at 300 horsepower and is said to run well. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a console-shifted four-speed manual transmission. A safety inspection has been performed.  

UNDERCARRIAGE

The drum braking system is power-assisted.
