Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This 1988 Lincoln Mark VII Bill Blass luxury coupe has been driven 82,445 miles since new and is powered by a 5.0-liter High Output V8 mated to a four-speed automatic overdrive transmission. Equipment includes a power sunroof, a dual exhaust system, automatic climate control, anti-lock disc brakes, and an Electronic Air Suspension. Finished in Arctic White over a Shadow Blue leather interior, this Mark VII is now offered with a CARFAX report and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The Arctic White exterior has contrasting pinstriping and bright trim for the bumpers, rocker moldings, mirror caps, and window surrounds. Equipment includes composite headlights, cornering lamps, a hood ornament, a waterfall-style grille, a power sunroof, a power antenna, and a dual exhaust system.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

American Racing 15-inch aluminum wheels are wrapped in 215/70 Goodyear Assurance tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is appointed with power-adjustable Shadow Blue leather bucket seats up front, a bench in the rear, and matching trim for the door panels, dash, center console, carpeting, and Bill Blass edition-specific floor mats. Features include woodgrain trim, tinted power windows, power door locks, power rack-and-pinion steering, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, automatic climate control, an AM/FM/cassette radio, and a rear window defroster.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a digital speedometer, a digital fuel gauge, and warning lights for various systems. The six-digital odometer reads 82,445 miles. The most recent mileage figure recorded on the CARFAX report in 2021 was 80,567 miles.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The 5.0-liter High Output V8 was rated at 225 horsepower when new. An oil change, fluid change, and inspection were performed in February 2024; the fuel pump was replaced in July 2023. According to the CARFAX report, a service in 2021 within the last 3,000 miles included the replacement of the serpentine belt, drive belts, and air conditioning refrigerant. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted four-speed automatic overdrive transmission.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Stopping power comes from anti-lock disc brakes. Handling is performed by an Electronic Air Suspension.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The CARFAX report begins in 1987 and shows ownership in Nebraska and Iowa. An accident was reported in 1990.
