Good afternoon fellow Jag enthusiasts. Thank you for the continued bids. @Louieaaa, assuming the car sells, I will give the buyer the option of power steering if it fits their needs. The secondary throttle plates were blocked before I purchased the car. Based on E-type forums I’ve read it does improve performance. I didn’t see a need to change, as this E-type runs flawlessly with responsive power. Thanks again for the questions/comments/bids.

Can you tell me why The secondary throttle plates are blocked and why is the power steering pump disconnected? Is that considered a performance modification?
Good evening. I’ve been told by many experts That there were approximately 250 produced with the 4.2 cylinder engine for worldwide distribution in 71. Quite possibly 15 or fewer in the US. Considered by some as the 2.5 series.
I believe that 1971 was the year that jaguar switched to the v-12. I was told that there is only a handfull of these 6 cylinder models in America, like 15 or fewer. Mine sets in my garage in indiana......

Good afternoon . Thank you for the continued bids. @TotalClassic999- the belt was removed from the power steering on purpose. I personally feel is an improvement to drive without it, as it feels more like a proper European sports car. It is fully functional . If car hits reserve , I will give the buyer the option to leave it off, or I will have it installed. When the car was restored , fuel pumps were upgraded. Thanks again for the comments/questions, and bids.

Any particular reason that the Power Steering Pump has been disconnected ? This is a heavy car and as a buyer the scope of the problem will not be cheap! Also, have the twin fuel pumps been upgraded?
