Vehicle Story

This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Sedan is the recipient of a recent restoration with only 700 miles driven during the seller's three-year ownership. Power is supplied by a 350ci V8 and shifted through a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission. Upgrades consist of power steering and brakes, an aluminum radiator, American Racing wheels, Bluetooth stereo, and more. The car was professionally repainted two years ago, at which time all new badges, trim, and taillights were added, and a new exhaust system was installed. More recent work included replacing the heater core and control valve and an oil and filter change. This tri-five Chevy is finished in Fleet White over Gray Metallic and is offered with receipts of the refurbishment and a clear Ohio title in the seller's name.

The body was stripped and sanded prior to application of a Fleet White over Gray Metallic respray at Skippy’s Auto in Dayton, Ohio, two years ago. At the time, a new "Eagle Jet" ornament was fitted to the hood, along with “V” trim pieces and other badges and new taillights. A dual exhaust system was installed during the restoration process as well.

New 15" American racing wheels with chrome outer rings and black spokes are fitted with new 205/75 Hankook Optimo H724 tires. Braking and handling are managed by discs up front, drums in the rear, and power steering.

The interior is trimmed in black ribbed vinyl with matching door cards. Features include tilt steering, AM/FM radio with Bluetooth connectivity, door- and rear deck-mounted speakers, a JL Audio subwoofer in the trunk, and working heat with a new heater core and control valve.

The odometer currently reads 27,833 miles, approximately 700 of which have been added over the past 3 years. True mileage is unknown.

Power is supplied by a 350ci Chevrolet small block paired to a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission. A new aluminum radiator was added at the time of the refurbishment, and a recent oil and filter change was performed.

The underside of the vehicle was restored three years ago and is finished in black. A new exhaust system with custom pipes was added as well. Additional underside photos can be found in the gallery.

Receipts of the restoration work will be included with the sale.

@Scorpion55 – Comments on the front bumper damage? ...

The front bumper damage was that way when I bought the car. There doesn't appear to be any frame damage that I could see. It was just enough of a hit to bend the bumper some and the stone guard behind it.
